Impossible to use the scanner

Hi,

Just starting to use Photofiltre.
The software is great but I have one big problem.
When I want to use my scanner the program closes.
Is this a known problem or what am I doing wrong ?

Do File/Import TWAIN/Select source and check if it's your scanner selected.

Hi,

I already did that.
If I select my webcam it's working perfectly,
but if I select my scanner (Mustek 1200CP) it closes the program without any comment.
Other programs like Paint Shop Pro work fine on this issue.
The scanner that I use has a parallel connection but I don't believe that this will be the problem or am I wrong ?

Are you talking about the driver program or PF ?

I am talking about PF.
PF closes when I start the twain for my scanner.
If I use the twain on other photo programs it works without any problems.

I think it is something between this twain driver and PF.

Yes, the driver used by PhotoFiltre is very older

Yes I did.
Unfortunatelly I am using the latest driver that has been published for my scanner.
As I mentioned before, it is a scanner using a parallel connection so it is not that young anymore.
But other software is still working fine with this driver for my scanner.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a solution... The parallel connection is not a problem anyway...

I will try new twain driver/manager next month (as plugin).
I find new free source...
