ok, i used to have this scanner hooked up to my computer and i have a webcam too. when i click the "acquire" image button it still wants to connect to the scanner, but i really want to connect to my camera. it freezes up every time i click the acquire image button, because its looking for a scanner thats not there.
help??

The button, you try to use, is available for the source you have selected .
Open menu File/Import Twain/Select source, and if your camera is well recognised by the system, it's name will appear in the sources window.
