Is it a glitch?

I have many of my programs set up to open with shortcut keys. When I am booting my PC and I use the shortcut to PF Studio (or PF) I get several incidents of the opened program. It has become obvious if I wait until the machine is entirely booted, and all is quiet this does not occur, however many many times I believe it is completely booted up, but it is not. This is annoying because I have had more than 20 incidents open, and I am required to wait quite a while before I may close the unecessary opened incidents. Thank you. Yes, I know, "use your icon." I like my short cuts. Thanks, and I can live with this, but I thought you all would like to know about this if you are not already up to speed.
