Many times I encounter new posts that are of interest to all, however they are only in French. I know Tom is expert in English, and there are probably many other moderators who are also. My French is not-so-good, as has been pointed out to me by someone in the Forum, so I try to remain in the Support/Elteno area, rather than to lead others astray with poor French.

Suggestion: Would some generous moderator (TOM?) translate posts to English and post them here; I mean whenever appropriate of course.

Did you try to click on the english flag at the very bottom of each forum pages,just inside the babel fish logo
there are more than 70% chances that it works,( for the other 30% the automatic translation make no sense at all ,it's seem jibberish )

The auto translations are fine if the translation in question is limited to cognative vocabulary and few words, however this is rarely the case. Usually the resulting translation is completely confused, and has no bearing on the original intent of any concept(s) being conveyed. Having attempted valid translations with Babel, half the time I receive an error message and a request to send an email if I wish. When the translation does occur, it seems to be in a language not yet known to mankind.

i gived 70% chanches of usable translation, maybe are less...still i used it,and i find useful (i could not read any french, )

If I want to rename the files with a batch process, I'm not able to set the start of the automatic numbering in the sequence filed.

It would be greate, if the next version would contain such a feature!

Anyhow, this is a great software!
