Layer feature

Hi,

I installed PhotoFiltre a few hours ago and I'm very happy that I found a free alternative for my old Paint Shop Pro 5.0

I saw that PhotoFiltre can do most of what I wanted but there is one feature I cannot find: Layers. Is there layer feature? Because I saw in some of the old forum messages people ask about layer problems but I couldn't create new layers on my images.

Ah btw, I wonder also if there is a PhotoFiltre extension? Like .psp on Paint Shop Pro or .psd on Photoshop?

Hi,
The freeware release of PF does not work with layers, but only with "PhotoMasque", a particular module which works a little like layer.
You can learn more in PF by press the F1 key or click in menu ?/ Information.

A 30 days shareware release named PhotoFiltre Studio works with real layers and blending modes, and offers many other features.
The link towards this release is on the first line of the first inner page on PF web site. Click on the banner above left.

A specific extension is dedicated for files created by the Studio release, which allows to save current work with all the layers.
