resizing image

Hi,
I want to resize a picture I have and paste it into an email; but when I do that the picture comes out a little blurry. Is there a way or resizing the picture while retaining the clarity of the original?

Using lancszo or bicubic resample mode preserve more details. Try this when resizing but it can be different for each image

After resizing, each times i add some filter like :
- "Sharpen" to get better edges (a little bit more bright),
- but, most of the time, i prefer "Sharpen edges" to get edges a little bit more deep
Don't forget to use Edit / Fade if the result is too strong.
