Tried to open and save some Bitmap with Alpha transparency Even with the latest PhotoFiltre Studio. It still not supported. Can you add it? Many programs now recognise and convert them perfectly (such as Imagine (http://www.nyam.pe.kr/) for example)
Here's examples of files:

http://coraksoft1.narod.ru/temp/bmp_alp ... 0086ru.bmp (Bmp with Alpha channel, identical to PNG)

Bitmap alpha transparency? Very Interesting, but BMP file not supported this. Look in table. But if you open this BMP through "Imagine"Mészáros Tamás a écrit : Bitmap alpha transparency? Very Interesting, but BMP file not supported this. Look in table. F1 (help) > PhotoFiltre html file.(English)

or some other new graphic software - you see. It works.

don't forget if alpha is not supported when opening, you can set this using the function Image > Transparency > Transparent color

Re: Support for BMP / Bitmaps with alpha transparency channe
Yep That's Nice, I always doing like this and used such function if there's only ONE transparent color. But what (in my example) if i'm working with AGS (Adventure Game Studio) resources and translating some free game (and also sprites if there is locals in them). The AGS Tool extracting spr file and spr can be decoded sometimes to bitmap with alpha tranparences (32bit mode. 24bits for true colors, and 256 shades of alpha). And of course I wanted to save them as 32bit bmp (when done with translation) to repack back to game resource files. Photoshop (v10. 2008) seems saving them perfect as bitmaps, and some relatevely new programs (as "imagine") detect such alpha transparency...Antonio a écrit :don't forget if alpha is not supported when opening, you can set this using the function Image > Transparency > Transparent color
Also i found Photofiltre totally not supporting 16bit color mode, that's sad too. Some program working only with 16bit Bitmap (for example some AGS based games and "TZAR: Burden of the Crown").
