Hi
When i try to open a picture it says "cannot open this picture"
Why does it say this? Is it because of the format, size etc. ?
Or do i need to update to a newer version as i am running version 6.5.1
Thanks
~vanessa:)

Hi,
perhaps could you tell us some usefull details ? as the size, and the type of file,
and the way by which you open the file : menu File / Open or from the Image explorer of from Windows Explorer... duble clic or other menu ?
and the type of folder where are the images : have you the user rights to open these files.

i use file and then open, or otherwise the shortcut for file/open up the top.
it can happen with any file type, GIF, JPG, PNG etc.
sorry for late reply by the way

Could you try this : ?
- in Windows Explorer, copy a file which does not open and paste it in an other folder out of My Documents,
preferably on disk D:\ if you have one, or on an external disk or key.
- try now to open the new file by the same ways and tell us how it works and if not : what is precisely the message.
