Which is to say, menus and taskbars/toolbars without the backdrop; with the Desktop visible?
I'm a refugee from the Mac side, where just about every comparable image viewing and editing application works without a backdrop of any kind (the notable exception being Adobe Photoshop Elements; even there you have the option of 'turning it off'). Perhaps in a future version of PhotoFiltre, an option to run "rootless" could be added.
A vos souhaits,
