Hi, I need a little help with framing. Basically, instead of setting how big I want the frame, I want to frame the whole picture except certain parts.
Here's something that I want:
But I only want to highlight this part:
Please let me know how I could select something, and frame everything around it.
Thanks

Hi, framing is one of the options from photofiltre.Pierre-Andre a écrit :Hello,

It's on Filter > Frame > Simple Frame (is the one I use).
What it does is it creates a frame around an image, so it'll look like a picture frame. What I want to do is select only parts of a picture that won't be a frame, and everything else around what I select will be a frame.
The option they have is how big the frame is, meaning how many % of the picture it'll cover with a frame.
Let me know if I need to explain better.

Hi,
I think you are too worried by a strict frame function.
If you want to get somethink like that :

You only need to invert your selection and increase gamma.

You're right about me being strict, but this is so that there won't be any confusion on my side.
Could you elaborate or make it into step by step? I'm really new at this and don't understand things the first time...
Thanks for doing it and I hope you could teach me how.
