edges of selection are too sharp

There is no "feather"(photoshop term) In selection.
So edges of selection are too sharp, looks terrible to paste another image.
Is there any way to correct this?

Hi, yes indeed,

After the selection is drawn, you can look at menu Edit / Optimized clipping

You can also try this new public beta release, in which Optimized clipping is enhanced :
