PhotoFiltre 9.0.0 Closes Randomly...

I thought this might be me, but even on my laptop it happens. I'm using a registered copy of 9.0.0 and have been for a while. It's always done this and it's been one of those things I just have been dealing with and ignoring... but as I use it more and more it's becoming a problem.

The program keeps closing randomly. No errors, just closes itself down, poof - gone.

I looked for an update, but have been unsuccessful. Any advice?

Rebooting doesn't work - again, this has been a long time problem I'm finally looking for some help with.

And whew! My French is so so so bad, makes me feel for those non-English speaking people that come across a forum they don't understand - it's a good thing I remembered the French word for Red so I could get through the security check point when creating my account! *laugh*

It seems to be a windows problem of memory management.
Which operating system is in use ?
If is XP, tell us if the informations of this page can fix the bug :

In any case, verify you have a sufficient free space and size for the virtual memory (swap disk),
and don't forget to do regularly (each month) a de-fragmentation of your hard disk.

Thanks, Tom! I knew enough French to bumble through; sad I was nearly fluent in high school, but you use it or lose it I guess.

Anyway, I bet that is, indeed, the problem. I have plenty of memory and defrag and all routinely (yes, it's XP)... I'll get my computer geek to install that hotfix thank you!
