Help me please.

Hello!

Beforehand I apologize for a machine translation (Rus>Eng), but there was a large necessity in a help on PhotoFiltre.
Concerning the function of selection is there a "polygon", I select an object on a picture, pazzl, how it is here possible to know all his co-ordinates ot an overhead counter-clockwise corner, is there such function in the program or module(plugin) for the calculation of co-ordinates?

It is needed for creation of card of HTML IMAGE MAP

example:

<map name="Map">
<area shape="poly" coords="351,429, 381,484, 442,549, 560,474, 471,351" href="en.html" alt="Англия">
</map>

I hope you will understand a translation.

Thank you.

Which issue of PhotoFiltre are you using? There is a polygon selection tool. Look in your floating toolbar. The translation came over well. While using the Polygon Selection Tool, the X and Y coordinates are below the image. I hope this has been of some help. :)

I understand that current positions are down shown on a picture, but I need to know the co-ordinates of all points of polygonal selection, them approximately 30-40 things, so as heavy as lead to work, there is a lot of such objects.
Does can there is possibility to define them after a selection, and copy in the buffer of exchange?

Hi Student,

The plugin "Contour to selection" can be loaded from the PhotoFiltre web site.
To use it correctly don't forget to read the Contour.txt file.

In a few words : on a white background, draw a selection and fill the form in black color.
Open Menu Tools/Plugin/Contour to selection
When you validate by OK, a pfs file is created with the co-ordinates of all points of the selection.
This pfs file can be red with any note pad. :)

You can save the current selction as pfs file (menu Selection > save as). After, edit this text file, you will see all point coordinate...

I so did before, and these values are not faithful, co-ordinates are needed beginning ot an overhead counter-clockwise corner pictures to beginning of the selected area, and so all points.
example:

My picture has a size of 810x910px, the selected area is in the middle

You did a mistake when you have selected the file to edit. :)
The co-ordinates you give are those of a piece of puzzle.

The right one is something like that, if you optimize the selection with a level 2, following the red arrow :

Image

As you can see, these results are very faithfull and the co-ordinates are related to the rectangle enclosing the selection.
