Photofiltre 6.0.2

I am running Photofiltre 6.0.2 on Windows ME and whenever I try to open Photofiltre there is a 30 second delay. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but it still has a delay of 30 seconds to open. I don't have any plugins installed for Photofiltre, and tried various settings in the preferences but I still have this 30 second delay. Photfiltre is the only application on my computer that has this delay.
Is there anything I can do to fix this delay with Photofiltre 6.0.2?

Additional info: I just found out that if I open Photofiltre offline or when I'm not connected to the internet it opens fine, no delay. This delay only happens when I try to open Photofiltre when I'm online or when I'm connected to the internet. What could be causing this 30 second delay?

Hi Antonio,
I check for viruses and spyware on a daily basis.
I did however notice that when "spool32.exe" is disabled as a running process in Windows ME, this delay problem exists. I enabled spool32.exe and Photofiltre opens in about 2 seconds. If I am correct spool32.exe has to do with the printing process for Windows ME so why does it affect Photofiltre from opening
