Hi Folks:
Here's a new tutorial that is actually 4 tutorials in 1 for doing the Photo Manipulation below.
In the tutorial we'll use Alains White Balance Filter, The Elipse and Lasso Tools to change the Eye, Lip and Flower Colors and the Clone Tool to remove some blemishes.

I'm Sorry I don't speak French
I'm sorry I don't speak French. When I use Google Language Tools to translate from French to English a lot is lost in the translation that is why I am not putting French versions of my tutorials up.
If there is some one who would like to translate for me I will certainly post French Versions.
I see that there are not many English speaking visitors to this site but I will keep posting tutorials anyway in hope that it will introduce PhotoFiltre to more people.
Antonio has provided a great program for all to use this is the least I can do to repay him.

Re: I'm Sorry I don't speak French
Hey! Thanks for promising to keep posting.Bill a écrit :I see that there are not many English speaking visitors to this site but I will keep posting tutorials anyway in hope that it will introduce PhotoFiltre to more people.
Yes, I understand that the no. of English speaking visitors are limited, but the limited few like me find this absolutely helpful.
And yeah, Photofiltre is just too good ... and so little complicated!
Thanks again ... and Cheers!
Newbie here. Not being a French-speaking person, I hope I filled in the right fields during forum registration. The instructions and FAQ are all in French, and I cannot read them. Someone above mentioned translations by Google. I have the Google Toolbar. If it has translating capability, I don't know how to use it. This forum is mostly in French, and I'm not sure the search feature would work properly.
1. What are the MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS for PhotoFiltre 6.1? (Operating systems, memory and processor requirements, hard drive space, etc.) They do not seem to be listed anywhere on the PhotoFiltre site. This information should definitely be on the PhotoFiltre home page and download page. If the various plugins have specific requirements, I need to know that too.
2. Where can I download previous versions of PhotoFiltre if the current version does not work on some of my computers or if it takes up too much disk space? The two laptops are rather old and have less than 500MB remaining disk space.
3. Is that a photo of Olivia Newton-John in the tutorial above? It sure looks like her.

There is not true requirments. The more your computer is powerful, the more PF is powerful1. What are the MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS for PhotoFiltre 6.1? Let's try anyway :
-64MB RAM, 128-256 to work comfortably
-No requirment for CPU, if your CPU is powerful, the calculations will be quick.
-Windows 95/NT4 or earlier. Windows 2000/XP is much better for reliability and stability, almost with big images.
That's all

1) Did you download the English Version of PhotoFiltre? My instructions while I never use them are in English. The instructions and FAQ are all in French, and I cannot read them.
2) I'm not sure how François would feel about it but I'd be more than happy to translate and post his FAQ's in English. Since François has done all the work I'd feel funny just posting them without permission.
Certainly is. You must be as old as meIs that a photo of Olivia Newton-John in the tutorial above? It sure looks like her.

Your Tutorial, Bill
Just wanted to say TY very much Bill for your tutorial, the one of the Woman in white wearing a purple flower in her hair.
I sat last evening and went thru the tutorial, and I had a fun time doing that! Your tutorial was explained very well (for newbies such as I), and well detailed enough for me to follow along quite easily.
Now if I could just see all of the my *tools* from the tools palette on the right side, I would be doing much much better! A few of them are not even showing up on the right hand side and I don't know why. I'm using the 6.2.6 version.
Once again TY for the great tutorial![/i]
