Hi Hvidemose, and welcome,
you have, at first, to remember that black is not a color like others.
If you want colorize, you can also use Filter/Color/Colored layer, on a selected area.
But this way can fill the whole green area and you can loose the gradient parts of your image.
To change a range of colors, use instead : "Adjust/Replace color range" to define the predominant hue.
Then you can increase the saturation : "Adjust/Hue-Saturation".
To get specially black (which is not in the range of colors in the panel of "Replace color range") : Filter / Color /Grayscale,
so you get a gradient of grays and then :
- activate the magic wand with Tolerance 100 and Color checked
- select a white area and Invert selection
- Filter / Color / Colored layer and chose black color, keep 30%
- Adjust / Levels to increase Intensity of shadows to 100% and Threshold to 120
- With the Pipette tool you can verify you get exactly a black color : RVB = 0,0,0 = No color.
