Saturation Mode ?

I believe that the Saturation blending mode in PFS is not really Saturation mode. It seems to be identical to Overlay mode. When you blend an image with a duplicate of itself in Saturation mode, nothing at all should change, since the saturation is the same on both layers. But PFS Saturation mode changes the image in the same way that Overlay mode does.

no, it's not an overlay but a conversion error RGB <==> HSL. I use fast conversion algorithm for speed but this algorithm create some rounding conversion errors

It seems like more than rounding errors. Hue mode works perfectly. Why should saturation be so off? A blend of an image with itself in Saturation mode should make no difference. Instead we get an extreme difference. This can't be Saturation mode.

Thanks, Antonio. Can anyone download the beta? I can wait for the next release. But if I can get it now, I will. I don't know French, so I don't know what's on the beta 8.02 page.
