Message par GodWentPUNK »

Hey all:

I followed the BLENDING example in the tutural section and am unable to achive the results I like. When I merge the two photos, the first photo almost looks like a NEGATIVE image. Image

thanks for any help.

Hi Joe,

If the tutorial you tell about, is the "Artistic blending",
are you sure that the 2 pictures to blend have exactly the same size ?

Otherwise, you have first to enlarge the canvas size of the smallest one, with the exact number of pixels of the bigest one.

Are you sure too, that the gradient picture has the same size as the portrait and is realy assembled so :
Menu Edit >> Paste Special >> Assemble
Assemble Clipboard data at = Right

Thanks to post in the International Graphical support forum, for this kind of question.

I realize that my photos are of different sizes so things are not alligned.

My concern is that the photo of the girl is not prominate. I can't even make out her face. Why is that?

Hi Joe,

Tell us what is the type of file for the portrait.
Or better, give us a link to download the 2 original pictures and so we can try to find a solution.
What means prominate ? I guess, but i don't find it in my glossary.

Here are the links to my original photos:

I'm looking to get the quality to look like your example

http://www.artofdancestudio.com/likethis.jpg.

Lastly: when I go to make a background transparent, it only allow for 256 colors. Is this a typical setting or can you get more colors with the STUDIO version.

thanks again for your help.

Yes, for the Studio version you can save your pictures with a transparent background without any lost of colour, as PNG file.

I'm happy that you have a good result, but i wonder that the link you give, was the right link for this problem. :)

Glad to read you soon.
