All .tif files that I save with Photofiltre are compressed LZW. How can I save them as an uncompressed TIF.

When you are saving the .tiff in PF Studio 8.0, you should have an option window pop up giving you the choice of unchecking "compression." I hope this helps.

I use PhotoFiltre 6.2.6 / October 2006, and there is no option for checking or unchecking compression. It just saves all TIFs compressed.

While you do not have access to PF Studio, perhaps you might save your image(s) to a folder in a high resolution .bmp, and later, if you have another software for saving, resave it in .tif uncompressed. ??? Of course, Studio is lots easier. I have kept my original PF and I also have PF 6.2.6, no special reason, just sentimental I suppose. I do find lots of use for PhotoFiltre 6..........I hope this has been of use to you.

Without the ability to save as an uncompresseed .tif, Photofiltre is not of much use for me. Older versions did not force you to save .tifs compressed. Thanks for the help.
