I´d like to know, if Photofiltre editor 6.2.5 use some type of the compression during save file from JPG into the TIFF before edit. For example LZW. Older versions made large TIF files of same resolution, than now.
JPG files res. 3264x2448 were before about 20MB in TIF and now are files are in sizes 13-18MB.
Is possible change this? Thanks

yes LZW for Indexed and RGB format, RLE for Monochrom format

i don't understand...why do you want tiff without compression ?
with compression it's better !

Copression of TIFF files makes some problems during process on some DIGI_LABS. Better "pure" TIFF, or selectable compression, like in others editors. Thanks

Yes but uncompressed tiff is like bmp

then you can use bmp...?

Uncompressed TIFF is better for edit, not only for Me. When I consider to give this files for next process (compatibility). Someones could not update, and then I have to save else one as uncompressed i another editor.

for the moment in PF6, it's not a parameter, only in PFS
