i don't understand where is a problem.

In XnView, there is a thin white frame around the whole picture.
In PFS, the thin white frame is only along the top and for some reason 3 times thicker at the right side!

Sorry, but i have downloaded the original full view file from deviantart, and don't see any anomaly in PFS at 100% zoom display on my screen.
It seems you have particular, not native, screen settings, because on a 19'" screen you should view this whole image at 100% zoom in PFS workspace.
XnView does an adaptation of the size, like PFS when you chose full screen display.

My apologies the bug isn't in PFS, it's in Firefox 3.0 RC1!!!
I really hope this is fixed in RC2 or I'll be really steamed!

Update!
Even with Firefox 3.0 RC2 build 2, the bug still remains!
If I reload the page with "IE Tab" though, copy and paste the image again the bug isn't there!

PFS 9.2.1 and Firefox 3.0 RC1 + RC2 are buggy when pasting images from Firefox to PFS (Final version of Firefox 3.0 will be no different)

try to disable antialias when validate pasting (double click after paste)

I'm pasting as "Paste as new image" not just "paste" so there's nothing to double-click.

I need you to install Firefox 3.0 RC1 or RC2 (don't worry the Final is due out mid-June and you can install over the top), copy the picture (http://wingmar.deviantart.com/art/tusca ... e-87178411) to the clipboard in FX3 and paste into PFS 9.2.1.

Sorry, i don't need Firefox, and if it is a web navigator, as it seems, the web navigators aren't built to manipulate and display images
with the same quality like a true picture editor.
I never copy/paste an image from a web navigator, i always prefer do a "save picture as" which downloads the original file,
instead of a picture rendering calculated by the inner engine of the navigator.

Strange, I just noticed that Paint.NET 3.31 suffers the same problem too.
I'll just check their forums to see if anyone else has reported it.

The default Paint program in Windows doesn't have the problem at all!

1. Force 100% zoom because auto zoom can show 100% value but it's a rounded value, the true value can be 100,3% for example.

2. Try to save as png and open it with other program like windows paint. To test if it's only a display bug or a paste bug.

Definitely a paste bug.

Programs affected by this bug: PhotoFiltre Studio 9.2.1, Paint.NET 3.31, Ashampoo Photo Commander 5, Universal Viewer Free 3.4.1
Programs not affected by this bug: XnView 1.93.6, IrfanView 4.10, MS Paint

Alot of programs seem to have problems and it seems to me that the new Firefox is to blame sadly, the bug isn't your fault.
I'll go along with Tom's advice and just save\load the picture.

Ok, it's possible, after the copy and before the paste in PF, to run the windows clipboard tool ? This tool can check the clipboard format : bitmap, jpeg, emf or wmf (metafile) for example ?

In PFS, for emf and wmf i use the dpi to "resize" image. It can create a resempling process...

I just checked the Windows Clipboard Viewer app, the problem appears there too so it's not definitely PFS bug.
I'm still scratching my head as to how the picture can be pasted into XnView and not have the bug?
