Possible bug in "Pattern" in "Fill tool"

When I select the "Fill tool", there is a "Pattern" checkbox. Checking the box brings up a file selector that lets me choose a pattern. But once I select a pattern, how do I select another one? Unchecking the Pattern checkbox and re-checking it does not bring up the file selector box again. The only way I have found is to save my work, exit the app, and re-load it.

Any suggestions?

not a bug, the correct function is the menu Edit > Use as pattern
