Repositioning and Resizing

I am evaluating pfs and have a problem doing something that was easy in the free version of photofiltre. In the free version I could paste an image with an associated mask onto another image and then reposition and resize the pasted selection using the mouse before validating. However in pfs although I can reposition I cannot resize with the mouse Also if I deselect the image and then return I cannot reposition the pasted image (In pfs this is added as a layer)

Is this a limitation in pfs or is there a way

right click on the layer thumb (layer bar) and choose resize or distort
