Plugin for editing canvas with keyboard

Hi

I have a kind request - can anybody write a plugin which allows to edit picture canvas with keyboard? Lets say WASD keys increase picture canvas size by one pixel up/left/down/right and arrows decrease it (holding left Alt could make it 10 pixels per step). That would be much faster than selecting rectangle with mouse trying to omit 3 pixels on left side, press crop etc...

Hi, you don't need such plugin for working with pixels.

Put a selection around the place of the canvas you want paint, and display zoom at 1600 %
Then you can use the line tool or the paintbrush tool with 1 pixel width. And a color different of the background.
With the paintbrush tool :
Clic on the start pixel, keep Maj key down, and clic on the last pixel of the line : the line is filled.

to erase a mistake use Erase tool or with the paintbrush tool
invert the front and background colors and clic on the wrong pixels.

I don't want to paint anything. I think about quick edition of picture canvas with keyboard, without having to activate canvas window and change numbers. It would effect like this (first click plugin icon, then use keys)

Oh, i'm sorry. Yes i was very far of the subject.
In the "Canvas size" window you can get the focus in the Width box by 2 stokes on the "Tab" key.
And then the arrows keys increase or decrease the value.
A new stroke on the Tab key give the focus to the Height box...

But I think that it should canvas changes live on the picture. A "preview canvas change" tickbutton would be obviously nice in current canvas window but my system would allow to increase/decrease every side of the picture in main big window which wouldn't be obstructed by canvas change window
