How to set default saving to 1200, 600 or 300 dpi?

How to set default saving to 1200, 600 or 300 dpi?
I have my camera settings to 12MB photo, but when I view it in PF for the first time, an then go to close it, it wants to default to 180dpi, or worse, 72dpi. I can't find how to set the default to 600 or higher.

There are not defaut dpi, photofiltre use the image dpi when saving.
To change it go to the menu Image > Image Size, change unit to cm/inch and set the wanted dpi

That is what I have been doing. It is problematic, however, and I have saved many photos at too low a dpi because I forgot to change it, and it did default to 72dpi when I closed and saved the image. It would be great if the designer of PF added this default feature. Other programs have it.
