Hi - is there an easy way to make text have a 'shadow' that goes all around the text rather than just at the bottom left/right etc.? Rather than a 'shadow' I also want the surrounding colour to be solid as in the example here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paulval.wa ... n/text.jpg
Thanks.

Re: Text with surround colour
not like this but you can try a blured shadow.
In the text effect : Drop shadow, Delta X = 0, Delta Y = 0, Opacity 100%, Antialiased, Radius 7

An other way :
- keep the selection of the text shape (button transform to selection in the text module)
- and right clic / invert selection.
- Alt + L + R : Progressive contour Color : White, width : 10, Outside : check, Style : none
- repeat 3 or 4 times Alt + L + R
