"open with" rejects Photofiltre... any help?

if i pick a .jpg in a directory list, and right click, I should be able to open the jpg with the program of my choice. But when i choose Photofiltre.exe, the dialog simply closes and nothing happens..... sabotage?

I think it is a windoiws problem because i do it every day. It is better to try in admin mode
