Photofiltre and opening and saving folders settings

I notice than in options in the program(not the studio version) there are settings for folders-opening folder and saving folder-the problem I am having is if I open a folder within what I have it set for,and delete that folder next time I use the program it wants to open that folder which I deleted and does not open the folder I have it set for,in my case I have a folder called Dow Files,and it open the photofiltre folder in program files-anyway to avoid this?I checked the lock folders bot but that did not seem to do the trick.I use version 624 on XP.

photofiltre check if the folder exit at startup, if it don't exist, PhotoFiltre reset the folder

I understand now,the first time in years it has ever done that!
