I have just bought a Canoscan 9000F scanner. When I try to acquire an image via Photofiltre (version 7 or version 6), the Scangear window appears as usual, I make the 'preview' as usual, but then the 'scan' button is dead. Further, I cannot then close either Scangear or Photofiltre normally, but only via the Task Manager. This happens on all three computers on which I have installed the scanner (2x XP, 1x Win7). Is this a known issue? I have no such problem with Canoscan 8800F.
(No such problem with other programs either, e.g. ArcSoft PhotoStudio.)
