Drawing bug in 10x radius (Photofiltre 7x-Studio ver.)

in Photofiltre (7x-Studio versions). There is bug:
When I hold left mouse (just press and hold mouse) when drawing with
10x RADIUS or MORE it does not work instantly. It draws only the 9 of 10 pixels every step. antialias disabled...

The problem starts at 10 radius and more.

Hi Corak,

I think you have a low level memory problem. With 760 mb, if you have some other programs running in background,
Windows is bind to swatch some views of your work on the hard disk and it doesn't reach to do all the things
in the same time.

Rebooted my PC without SWAP file working. Same problem.
Tested this bug on other friend's PC's. The same problem.
Analized also older versions of Photofiltre - the SAME bug was, but I don't recognized it, because there was no brush marking. Now the problem is detected - it's not in PC, memory... Maybe some OS (Windows 98-XP tested) functions USED by Win32, or the Program bug...

I have this problem too. I never knew this before, now I see why the pictures, that i drawed was so Sharp in edges... *cry*

i use XP with 1 Gb of memory and with a processor 1.2 Ghz (not a very recent PC) and i have not this bug. I tested brush more than 100 pixels radius...don't understand...

When used 100x radius it Skips 28 Pixels! 0____o

Just tested. Yes!

Tried everything on every PC or OS.... Same problem everywhere
Just Try to use 200 radius and move mouse - you'll see NO RESULT until it sets some break PERCENT points... THAT'S THE PROBLEM... Ask every user.

Yes i think i have understood :



The drawing is not fluid or progressive and draw only by steps.
It's more discreet with a circular brush because the edges are soften.

Yes it is! And this Steps are defined by percentage of Radius. So THE ONLY PURPOSE for this is only to SKIP a DRAWNING.. If users are need this... Can you make this Skipping OPTIONAL (for older PC), or even make a parameter (how much percent to skip when drawning) - constant drawning is better.

Ok understand now, it is not a bug, it is the automatic step.

With the advanced brush you can set the step but not in the standar brush for the moment...
