Hi,
I am working on a drawing using PhotoFiltre, and need to keep three or more photo files open and visible in the PhotoFiltre window as I work. I want to be able to click on each file to conveniently bring it to the forground when needed, and to minimize and maximize each file as I work. The problem I'm having is preventing that. When I open each file, it has a light blue frame around it with the minimize, maximize and close options and the name of the file. As I start to use the program to make changes in the drawing and click on a file to bring it to the forground and also minimize some of the files, the blue frame disappears, and sometimes the files close completely. When I click on FILE> RECENT FILES and open the closed file again, I get the following message: This image is currently edited. Please use the duplicate function to create a new instance of the image so necessary. I can do that, but what I would like to know is how to prevent the files from closing in the first place. I would like them to remain nicely in the original blue frames with the minimize, maximize and close options.
This is a long, wordy question, and I appreciate anyone who reads it through and who can give me any information.
Thanks,
Dawna R.
How do I keep the border around several open files intact?

Re: How do I keep the border around several open files intact?
Hi,
First you have to uncheck "Maximize window when opening" in the View menu.
When a file is open and the blue frame disappears, in the right corner above,
you have two sets of icons to minimize, maximize and close options.
One below is for the current displayed file, the up one for the soft.
And anyway you can open (in PhotoFiltre) menu Window and chose that you wish :
- "Restore all" to display all images
- or by there name each image in the bottom list
Note also that the maximize icon has an alternative function to set or uncheck the maximize automatic state.
Have fun with PhotoFiltre.
