Some images cannot be opened

I cannot open some images. Windows error message: "Image cannot be loaded". They are always images in jpg format. Most can be opened, some cannot. Why not? However, these images can be opened with other image programs.

perhaps it's not a jpeg but other format like png ? what version did you use ?

Antonio, please search for any image you want to retouch here https://cleanup.pictures/ and download it. It is displayed as a jpg and then cannot be opened. I use the freeware version 7.2.1.

when i open it with PF11 it tell me that is a png image not a jpg. Just rename to png and open it...

the web site (or navigator) don't change the extension when saving, don't know why...
