How to create a NOZZLe?

Hi Retry Man,

To create a serial of nozzles (for rather advanced user) :
- create a first square format picture as 100x100 pix or 400x400 Max.
- swap Image in RGBA mode with Alpha channel, select all and delete
- paste, as new layer, the cut out object you got with selection and Edit/optimized clipping from an other picture
- adjust the layer size, Layer/border effect if necessary, or transparency level, and merge layers
- create a second picture with the same attributes, copy
- on the first picture : special paste/ assemble the paste on the right
- and so on, for the other pictures. Maximum size for the total width : 2000 pixels
- save the result in PNG format in the right folder : Nozzles in PFStudio folder

I'm trying to make some custom nozzles but I'm having problems understanding the tutorial above and wondered if I could get some help.

The image below is the first one I'm trying to convert. (I have others similar that I eventually want to add on). It's jpeg and 200 x 200. Do I need to change the file format to .png? Do images always have to be on a white background initially?



So I've swapped to RGBA mode with alpha channel, then I select all and then, is 'del' delete?

After that I'm completely stuck. Any advice would be appreciated.

this is not an easy exercise, especially if you are'nt acquainted with advanced works on layers
and clipping or cut out objects. It's easier to begin by the tutorials of the official site of PF6 :
