Tu dis que tu doutes pourtant tu fais des choses magnifiques, j'ai certainement un petit avantage d'avoir été a l'école pour apprendre photoshop Adobe CS3 qui est le programme des professionnels mais comme tout le monde je dois chercher et souvent recommencer; tu dois faire le plus d'essais possible et les sauvegarder, allé voir sur les blogs et télécharger des tableaux ne pas copier mais prendre ce que tu as besoin et un jour tu as une idée et tu la concrètise, tu sais lorsque j'ai commencé Adobe CS3 nous étions trente dans la classe et après trois ans nous étions encore neuf de mon âge pour l'examen de spécialisation il n'y a qu'une recette exercices, exercices,et encore exercices.

Yes, I understand I’ll have to exercise and exercise again to get really good. Only recently I’ve read some tutorials on the use of Photofiltre and thought, “O! There’s much more to the programme than I suspected; how am I ever going to learn all that…”…I’m not twenty anymore and notice I don’t pick up things as easily as when I was younger.

Creating things digitally is a relatively new enterprise for me. Although there have been attempts as early as 1992, it’s never become a regular hobby. Well, it’s becoming one now, for sure.

This is the first time I try to seriously participate in a visual arts forum. Perhaps this is a reason why I doubt myself so much; I see a lot of fantastic & experienced talents around here. It has always been a rather lonely hobby for me….I’ve hardly ever shared my creations.

For inspiration I will often turn to my personal library. I own a couple of hundred art books and read them frequently. It is a matter of storing materials into the memory, digest it; and sooner or later it will come out in whatever form.

From the past: Ancient art, Late Titian, Rembrandt, El Greco, Goya

Modernism: Matisse, Picasso

Contemporary: Gerhard Richter…and Sigmar Polke!
