Gaussian blur and distort issue

For me, here is the best method to do what you want.
(Global method, works with all Studio version. The shape and the Alpha channel must be in RGB only and greylevel)

This is unbelievably cumbersome. I downgraded to 10.8 and it works great like it used to without any of that alpha channel nonsense.
