Impressionist
Does anyone know why MS Impressionist doesn't work with PFS? It's an 8bf filter. Paint Engine doesn't work either. I see so many people doing such good work with Impressionist, I'd love to use it in PFS. You can download it at http://www.trimoon.com/downloads

Hi Bill,
It works in most programs that allow 8bf plugins. Just wondering why it doesn't work in PFS. Same goes for Paint Engine by Fantastic Machines. The result comes out pure black.
Serif PhotoPlus does fine with both these plugins, but it won't run BuZZ Simplifier, which PFS runs perfectly. I just wonder what's stopping these plugins from operating properly. Maybe there's something that can be done to make them work.
My understanding is that Microsoft is not objecting to the use of their Impressionist filter as a plugin in photo editors. They do have a way of making their desires known to all.
Maybe Impressionist is never going to work in PFS. But maybe someone can figure out what the problem is, since it works in Photoshop, Elements, PhotoPlus, and PSP. It even works in imageN.
