Click on the lin in the upper left corner, and go to the PF splash page. Select English, and go to tutorials. Scroll to the tutorial labeled "Artistic Blending." This is just one manner of making a blend.
You must have the arithematic plugin installed in your copy of PF. You will find it under plugins on the same page. The formulas for the tool may be found here:
