text 2 path

Is it possible to put a text on an other path... by example a line or a bend line...???

There is a plugin available on the PhotoFiltre Site called Text to Path.

There is another plug-in called Contour to Selection.

The Text to Path Plug-in uses shapes from the selection folder. Basically you type in your text, select a shape and the text will follow the shape or path.

The Shapes or Selections are a pfi format file so if you want to create your own shapes like an arc to use for a path you need to have either PhotoFiltre Studio which will allow you to save shapes in the pfi format or download the Contour to Selection Plug-in for the free version of PhotoFIitre which will allow you to save your shapes or selections as a pfi.

Hi Bill, thank you so much for the suggestion!!
I just made a new selection with the plugin Contour to selection, saved it and put a text on it with the plugin Text 2 path.
so far so good...
But: HOW can I influence the text.... by example if I want it red or thick or whatever....... is that possible in any way...???

In the Text to Path Window there is a Font Button. Click on it and you can set the size, style and color.
