Question for Francois
If you use google or babaefish can people follow my tutorials in French or is the translation bad.
I would like to start posting news of my new PhotoFiltre Studio Tutorials in the Tutorials Section of this forum to start giving people an idea of some of the stuff you can do.
OUI pour que PhotoFiltre Studio continue de vivre !

Well... I translated the index of your website, to test. And I must say the result is horrible It's incomprehensible. For tutorials, the names of options in menus are completely changed... Only people who are able to retranslate the texte in english can understand ... So it's silly !
Anyway, I used Google and I think others translators can do better. WorldLingo gives the same horrors as Google
So if anybody knows a good online translator, I would like to test it...

That's very kind of you, François !But I'm sure Sterenn will do a great work
Anyway, I'll do my best !
But I may need help ....can you think of something nice to translate : "inset glass orb " ?
On voit bien ce que c'est, mais vous avez qqchose pour dire ça en français de façon concise et élégante ?
J'attends vos suggestions ! Bye !!

Hi Sterenn,
If you prefer "Bille de verre incrustée", every body will understand what it means.
And for any use man will do with thereafter, that's not our problem, perhaps a button, perhaps a stone for a finger ring, never mind.
The most important thing is that every body can then appropriate the orb and shadows techniques and thanks Bill for that wonderful gift.
Aren't you in accord with this point ?

Hi Bill,
I'm back, i had'nt see before the publication notice of the french tutorials.
It's very great, Sterenn has well worked. (You too evidently)
Just a little remark : the first picture layer 1 does'nt represent the right effect top to bottom which is in the description.
I read you later with pleasure.

You caught me. I was lazy. Sometimes I just do a bunch of screen captures so that when I do a tutorial I already have images of various buttons and menus. I thought I'd get away with it.Just a little remark : the first picture layer 1 does'nt represent the right effect top to bottom which is in the description.
Seriously guys. If you come up with a better name for something use it.
I am a trusting sole though and am at your mercy. I speak no French and would not like to offend. Make sure it is clean and appropiate

That's right , Bill , so ..watch out !!!!I am a trusting sole though and am at your mercy
But don't worry both translations are correct ! Tom has found a good word for translating "orb" I think , and it's very faithful to what you wrote ------> Bille de verre incrustée
I didn't bother and just used "bouton" as it is mainly for the web ... But we both say it is inset and made of glass... so .. It's up to you !
And maybe the shortest one is the best one !
