I have creates a company logo by pasting a bmp image of text into PF. I have made the text as large as possible but the edges are pixellated. How can I smooth the edges so that they are sharp?
Thank you

Re: Smoothing pixels
Hi smallinson,
Working with numeric images is frequently a way to discover that illusions looks better than the real matter.
There you try to smooth the edges so that they will be sharp. It seams a little contradictory but you are on the right way.
I think you have already observed that the tools of the menu Filters / Sharpen make the characters more tight
and the tools of the menu Filters / Soften make the characters more thick but also a little blury.
Depending of the size, colors and background of the characters you have to choose in these menus the best tool for your taste.
Just a tip : to get characters more easy to read, i often use this way :

- menu Fliter / Other / Minimum : Radius low, Threshold 0
- menu Edit / Fade Minimum or Shift + Ctrl + Z
