A novice needs help - just started with this area!
some pictures look very dark compared to the original viewed in Microsoft Picture manager, when I open them with Photofiltre.
How come? and can I change it?

By changing to gif format from jpg, everything is ok...

I have PhotoFiltre 6.4.0, and it was a jpg file.
I learned that gif was not the right format, since I could not edit much in the picture. Then by changing to png, it seems for the unexperience person as if the problem is solved.
But can you help me with how to show the examples here, then I will gladly do it?

Yes Png file format is better to save without any loss but this format is more heavy than jpeg format.
None is perfect.
