Using Shapes along with words

I'm currently using photofiltre v6.3.1.

Is there a way I can create something like this? Id so, can somebody point me in the right direction? I can't figure out how to do either. Both the shape and the wording in that style.

Hi,

to paste some text along a shape, you need to download the plugin "Paste into" :
http://photofiltre.free.fr/frames_en.htm and paste it in the Plugins folder of PhotoFiltre.

In fact, for this task, it works like a paste around :
- on a new sheet, create your text, activate the magic wand, check "color", and select the background color of the shhet
- invert the selection, the text is selected, do copy.
- On the target sheet, select the shape along which you want to paste the text.
- call the "Paste into" plugin and check around box
- the different settingss allows to rotate the text around the shape ...

Thanks very much! I actually have most of the plugins, but not this one. Never even saw it. This is really going to help out a lot.

What about the shapes themselves? Anything I can do to create them. I now there are a handful of "Load Shapes" to choose from, but anything else that would help me in that area?

Hi,
you simply have to use the better selection tool to select the target shape.
In the case of your exemple the elliptic selection tool.

Just one more quick follow up. Once the shape has been put onto the canvas, is there a way to color it? IE: Make the circle red? I'm sure it's right in front of me, but I can't see it.

I've been tasked with doing some basic graphics for an origination and they was some of these styles.

Not exactly in front of you, but in your right clic :
"Stroke and fill" or something like that. (I hav'nt the english version on my actual station)
