Is possible to make a torn paper in Photofiltre Studio?

Hi everybody:
I want to make a torn paper in Studio version, but, after try some trys, i couldn´t make it . I make this in PSP, but i´ll loved to see this in Photofiltre.
In PSP, i usually open a new canvas with transparency in it, fill with a pattern, click on the free hand, select an area and delet it (the canvas is now half pattern, and half transparent). Than, i add a new layer under the canvas, and with the paintbrush tool, i put a little white area on it, apply the plugin texturizer, merge all layers and that´s it!
Does anyone knows some technic to do it in Photofiltre? Thanks...

Though certainly not as flexible as you want, there is the PhotoMask function. You could create a desired mask, then use that function?

(Mind you, I'm becoming adept at PhotoFiltre Studio, but that's about it--no PSP experience to speak of....)
