How do you make text look like it's glowing?

Hi all,

I've had a look around and I've not been able to find any help on making text seem like it's glowing, you know brilliants whites and stuff, could anybody help me please? I have photofiltre studio 8.0.2, and when I get the hang of it I will put a picture on of needed.

Hello Sunsparkle,

I have made a graphic of one way to obtain a slight "glow" effect in text. Where it says progressive contour, it should read Contour 3D. A large text must be used otherwise the Contour 3D will cause the color to go dark, and you want it lighter. You may reduce the size after you obtain the text shade you want. I'm not sure it's what I'm looking for but it might just be because of the light background. But I certainly will be trying it, make no mistake about that lol. Thanks all the same. I'll put a picture up soon so people have a little idea so to what I'm after.
