Just tried it ... and ite PERFECT :)

Really, can't think of anything more ... unless you come up with something nice!

Guess all that remains as of now (since the creation of a selection before invoking the plugin is not possible as of now) is:
1) to include an icon that can be displayed in the plugin bar
2) to clean up unnecessary code if any to bring down the plugin size.

talking of which, maybe the "Fonts" button need not popup another window, but just put those sub buttons like Bold, Italic, Underline, Stikeout, Font, Size & Font Colour in a line just above the edit box. The sample preview would not be required as the actual text can be previewed in the edit box as is now.

Cheers!

yes, that would be good... i've never done any multi language apps before... how do we go about it? :?

we should probably also have it flexible enough to be viewed in german (and maybe others?) too... my girlfriend is from germany so translation to german shouldn't be too tricky

You can make your own multilanguage system or use a existing one...

For my multilanguage plugin I use dxgettext :

Hello all... i've tried to do the french version... but i know no french :?... so, can someone please download the new multilanguage version and test and translate for me?... i have tried to do some myself (using google)... but i'm sure it won't be correct (so don't laugh to much ;))... these are the texts i have so far and need the correct translation:

'Unable to find Selections folder.' -> '"Selections" annuaire non trouvé'
'Path:' -> 'Chemin:'
'Settings:' -> 'Options:'
'Flip' -> '(Ex/Int)érieur'
'Close Path' -> 'Fermez'
'Smooth:' -> 'Lisse:'
'Scale:' -> 'Grandeur:'
'Location:' -> 'Endroit:'
'Offset:' -> 'Excentrage:'
'Text:' -> 'Texte:'
'Preview:' -> 'Prévision:'
'Preview (F5)' -> 'Prévision (F5)'
'Space Before:' -> 'L''espace avant:'
'Space After:' -> 'L''espace ensuite:'
'Done' -> 'Fin'
'Cancel' -> 'Oubliez'
'Check for an update' -> 'Vérifiez une mise à jour'

Thanks :)
Cleon.

An alternative for google translation: http://reverso.net/text_translation.asp.
IMHO, I think it's better. :)

For my translation, i use a stringtable in ressources file.
Number 1xxx for French ..... 2xxx for English ect.........
The PhotoFiltre Function "GetLanguageCode" is use to the index (1000,2000 ect...)
Each line of text as a number (equal in each language)(1,2,3..... ).
Index+Line number = Good text.
And the api "LoadString" function load the good String.

I propose you translations below. I think of them correspond better to the computer environment.
If it is necessary, they can be corrected by the other users. :wink:
