I was used to use Corel Draw, but I like photofltre better!
It's simple and easy and... also available in Dutch.
I'm a dutch woman, you see.
This is my question (I did it in Corel, but don't know how to do it in Photofiltre):
How do I fit text to a defined path? For example to a curve...

			Hi Joke,
There is 2 ways to proceed, using each one a different plugin.
You can find 3 responses, by doing a little
Search with the good button above this page and use
text + path as key,
select "International" as Category,
check "Only display reference topics" and you get the right answer in english language.
To download easier the Photofiltre plugins, you can use a new light software :

Thanks for helping me with the easier way to install the plugins.
But...
I did'nt find the solution of my problem.
I tried the pluggin Text2path. Very nice.
But the text doesn't fit to a selfdrawn line or so.
I want the text on a curve, waved,...
Is there any solution on that?
I hope so!

Have you tried the other solution with the
Past Inside plugin ?
viewtopic.php?p=79957#79957
The both plugins are downloaded with a txt file which gives some explanations.
For Text2path, you can see, for example :
Text 2 Path renders text along the outline of a saved selection.

			Well, I find Paste Inside...
But when I manage to have the text just at the
up-side of the curved selection (with freehand), the fonts are so disfigured... Not nice!

			This is what I mean.
It is not on the outside of a whole selection, but just on a line.

Yes it is not so easy with PF for this special feature,
but some results can be got and combined :
1- Filter Deform/Spherise/Lens
2- Filter Deform/Twirl
3- Plugin Deform
4- Twirl + Spherise
5- Plugin Paste Into on a lasso selection
6- Filter 8BF Pinnochio by Richard Rosemann.
Or with several half circles :
With Text2path :
but you need to build a bitmap shape : selection filled in black and saved with Contour to Selection plugin.

Thanks for all your efforts to help me out!
I think the last image is most like mine.
Funny enough: its by using Text2path.
But I don't quite understand your instructions:
but you need to build a bitmap shape : selection filled in black and saved with Contour to Selection plugin.
It's easy to fill a selection in black. But what do you mean with:
saved with Contour to Selection plugin
I can't find that plugin anywhere in my program either.

			The plugin is named
Contour on this page :
http://www.photofiltre-studio.com/plugi ... hp?lang=en
but it is named
Contour to selection in menu Tools/Plugins/
This plugin works only on a shape to define a selection, which refine quality will partialy depend on the number of points saved in the pfs file.
For a handly (lasso) designed shape which will be followed regularly by a text, optimize with value 2 or 3.
After the selection is saved, open this one in the selections menu of Text2Path.
With the key
text + path you find also a link towards a tutorial of Bill.
It seams you didn't it seen.
