:D Will be much more useful post this tips here viewtopic.php?t=4672&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
but i can't transate it in french

8) PS brush are famous but there is also tons of very good brush for gimp
(here http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/forum/Res ... -11-1.html many example and links ).

Most could be easy converted to be used in PFS...If you have last version of XnViewer ( http://www.xnviewer.com )Gimp is not needed to do it :!:
HOW TO

1)Download and uzip the gimp brush (.gbr)
2)start Xnview, and browse the brush
3)Save the brush you like as .png (even batch conversion works)
4) arrange png as usual in a strip, copy in PFS brush folder.

i hope it will be useful

A few Gimp brush are "animated brush",...in that few cases file extension will be not.gbr and convertion will be impossible.

Heis Spiter : I "stick" it

TubeEx is a free software to convert tub, psp, or pfr files as png.

You can see the related web page and download the soft :

http://www.psptubedepot.com/index.htm

Notice that the PspImage must be renamed manualy as psp
and PspTube files as tub

oops i didn't notice your answer
well to make a brush for PFS you just convert (save) it as .png ..i believe maximum size is 200x200
To create more brushes is best arrange them in a strip (i mean any brush is a square of same size...you have to past that squares in a strip and save the strip in the brush folder

In case anybody care, you can always convert Photoshop brushes (.abr) to PNG using ABRViewer. And from those PNGs you can export to any type of brushes. I've been using it with my GIMP for years. We all know PS brushes is the most abundant type out there ;)

maybe a summary is needed

1) you can convert PS brush for PFS with ABRviewer
2) you can convert Gimp brush(gbr) with Xnview
3) you can convert PSP nozzle with Tub.exe

however this doesn't ALLWAYS works :!:

PS brush file format is changed with CS2, and ABR don't read well the new format
(even older PS version can't use specific CS2 brush!!)

Xnview sometimes don't read well the Gimp brush

i don't know about tub.exe
