Wiindows 10 locks external drive for lot of applications. Try to run PhotoFiltre in admin mode but not sure it will work. It's better to save to local folder before and move it with explorer

photofiltre don't control nothing, only call windows api. If the system send an error when saving to D and not to C there ara some reason. Perhaps the file name, a special char or a spacing in the name ?

can you try to rename '01.jpg' to 'image01.jpg' (put a letter before the number)
