Hello. Every time I use stroke it comes out as if cut off at the edges like this. Can something be done?

Stroke text is not vectorial
Try to convert the text to selection and use the menu Selection > Expand, perhaps the result will be better...

Yeah, I did that too, no difference, same issue.

Hi,

For lack of inner solution, you can get round the problem :
- open a big sheet (A4 size or more)
- open a new transparent layer
- choose a big size of Font (modify manually 300 by 900, for example)
- clic on "Transform to selection"
- right clic in the selection / Manual settings => reduce to 90% of the image
- right clic in the selection / Stroke and Fill => check stroke with antialias

When you reduce the size of the image or of the layer, the edges of the font will be well rounded

On the layer you can also try the functions Layer/Border effect

Yeah, I've tried all the possible tricks with layer and selection and none give a satisfactory result. Working with huge resolutions and reducing the size for the final product is the only possible way, but even then the result is still a far cry from a good, solid stroke effect found pretty much anywhere else, even in online-only editors. I just don't understand why such a basic feature still isn't implemented properly in Photofiltre.

==> Because i work alone. PhotoFiltre is not a team of developper but only me and i don't know how to do some algorithms
