I usually drag and drop files into PF but why it's possible to drag and drop only 20 files at once?

I use macromaker with PF which automates cropping, resizing and saving. I have 1300 pics which I have to edit. It's annoying that I have to drag'n'drop only 20 files at once to PF. Is it really that it cannot be 100 files? Or even 50?
